Yesterday we

finally

tried out the popcorn popper that we got as a wedding ceremony nowadays.

(Keep in mind nosotros've been married for more than 3 yrs.)

I remember that face up says it all!

This little machine is so awesome that it doesn't even have an on/off switch, and it sparks every time you unplug information technology from the wall. Merely, later setting off 3 of our apartment's fire detectors we found out that; three year old popcorn does actually pop, it tastes similar cardboard when it isn't flavored, 1/2 cup of kernels makes enough corn to make a 15+ foot long garland, stringing popcorn makes a HUGE mess, and Reli is terrified of the popper.

I found this concluding part hilarious because she loves watching corn pop in the microwave! It might have something to exercise with the fact that the smoke alarm went off considering she keeps looking warily at the ceiling and maxim "I hear a dissonance Mommy!"

I have now decided that stringing popcorn isn't as fun as they make it seem on TV, and it is non something that nosotros volition be repeating until we own our own house. Then we tin can hang the strands on a "critter tree" outside instead of hiding them in a box away from the cats. (Cats and popcorn…Who knew?)

So, has anyone else tried any holiday activities that have totally diddled up in your face?
